I am currently building two reading towers for myself.
One of them is about our highest ideals, and I am currently reading Plato’s Republic for that.
The other came to be because Paterson, an amazing film I watched this year, reminded me of my almost forgotten intention to read more poetry.
I had enjoyed the poems by e. e. cummings that I came across here on Tumblr so much that I eventually bought a large collection of his poetry. And yet, somehow, I never really followed through on my intention to read more of it.
Like Umberto Eco, whom I will read later, but for my graphic design studies, I value a library of books I have not yet read.
